In order to extract XLSX metadata, we’ll use
API which is a feature-rich, powerful and easy to use document metadata extraction API for C++ platform. You can download its latest version directly, just open
package manager, search for Aspose.Cells.Cpp and install. You may also use the following command from the Package Manager Console.

Steps to Extract Metadata of XLSX via C++
Access useful information stored in the XLSX file including when the XLSX file was received, processed, time-stamped and so on.
- Create options using MetadataOptions
- Load XLSX file using WorkbookMetadata
- Add new properties by GetCustomDocumentProperties() and Add
- Save XLSX document
