  1. Include the namespace in your class file
  2. Create Workbook class instance.
  3. Access the first worksheet of the workbook.
  4. Get the desired cell(s) of the worksheet and input the value into the cell(s).
  5. Use Save method to save the workbook as XLT file.

XLT What is XLT File Format?

Files with .xlt extension are template files created with Microsoft Excel which is a spreadsheet application which comes as part of Microsoft Office suite. Microsoft Office 97-2003 supported creating new XLT files as well as opening these. The latest version of Excel is still capable of opening this old format template files.
