Steps to Convert HTML to VCF via Java

Java programmers can easily convert HTML file to VCF in just a few lines of code.

  1. Read the HTML content from the file “content.html” using the Files class’s readAllBytes() method, and convert it to a String.
  2. Create a new MapiContact object to represent the contact.
  3. Set the display name of the contact to “John Doe” using the setDisplayName() method of the MapiContactNamePropertySet class.
  4. Set the email address of the contact to “ john.doe@example.com ” using the setEmailAddress() method of the ElectronicAddress class.
  5. Set the HTML content of the contact’s body using the setBodyContent() method, providing the previously read HTML content and specifying BodyContentType.Html .
  6. Save the contact to a VCF (vCard) file “contact.vcf” using the save() method of the MapiContact object, with ContactSaveFormat.VCard .
