This generator produces a six-digit sRGB value in #RRGGBB format, such as #1E90FF. The leading hash and all six hexadecimal digits are part of the control’s value.

2. Is the selected color included in submitted form data?

Yes, when the control belongs to a submitted form and has a name. The name becomes the form-data key, and the selected hexadecimal color becomes its value.

3. Can this generator create a transparent color?

No. Its color control generates a six-digit red, green, and blue value without an alpha channel. Use another field or a custom color interface when the form must collect opacity separately.

4. Will the color picker look identical in every browser?

No. Browsers and operating systems provide the picker interface, so its layout and available interaction can vary. The submitted #RRGGBB value remains the interoperable part of the control.

5. Does choosing a color guarantee accessible contrast?

No. The control records a color but does not evaluate it against foreground or background colors. Test the chosen combination against the contrast requirements of the interface where it will be used.
