Convert PDF to XPS in PHP

Use Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java to import the pages of a PDF document as slides and save the resulting presentation as an XPS document.

Call addFromPdf to import the PDF pages, then call save with SaveFormat::Xps.

You can install the library from Composer using the following command:

Console/Terminal

composer require aspose/slides

How to Convert PDF to XPS in PHP

These are the steps to convert a PDF file to XPS using PHP.

  1. Create a Presentation and remove its default slide.

  2. Import the PDF pages with addFromPdf.

  3. Call save with the output file path and SaveFormat::Xps.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add PHP to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in php.ini.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set JAVA_HOME to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install Apache Tomcat 8.0 with PHP/Java Bridge (see the installation guide ).
