Convert POT to PPTM in PHP

Use Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java to load a PowerPoint 97–2003 POT template and save it as a macro-enabled PowerPoint PPTM presentation.

Call save with SaveFormat::Pptm to create the PPTM file. The format can store VBA projects, but conversion does not add macros that are not present in the source.

You can install the library from Composer using the following command:

How to Convert POT to PPTM in PHP

These are the steps to convert a POT file to PPTM using PHP.

  1. Load the POT file with the Presentation class.

  2. Call save with the output file path and SaveFormat::Pptm.

  3. The PPTM file is written to the specified path.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
