Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java can load a macro-enabled PowerPoint POTM template and save it as an editable, macro-free PPTX presentation without Microsoft PowerPoint.

Call save with SaveFormat::Pptx to create the PPTX file. PPTX cannot store VBA projects, so the VBA project from the source POTM template is not retained.

These are the steps to convert a POTM file to PPTX using PHP.

Load the POTM file with the Presentation class.
Call save with the output file path and SaveFormat::Pptx.
The PPTX file is written to the specified path.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
