Convert POTX to BMP in PHP

Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java can load a PowerPoint POTX template and render each slide as a BMP image without Microsoft PowerPoint.

Call getImage for each slide and save the rendered image with ImageFormat::Bmp. A scale factor of 2.0 produces an image at twice the slide’s default rendering dimensions.

How to Convert POTX to BMP in PHP

These are the steps to convert a POTX file to BMP using PHP.

  1. Load the POTX file with the Presentation class.
  2. Render each slide by calling getImage.
  3. Save each rendered slide with ImageFormat::Bmp.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
