Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java can load a PowerPoint POTX template and render it as a multipage TIFF image without Microsoft PowerPoint.

Call save with SaveFormat::Tiff; each slide becomes a page in the TIFF output.

You can install the library from Composer using the following command:

> composer require aspose/slides

How to Convert POTX to TIFF in PHP

These are the steps to convert a POTX file to TIFF using PHP.

  1. Load the POTX file with the Presentation class.

  2. Call save with the output file path and SaveFormat::Tiff to render all slides.

  3. The multipage TIFF file is written to the specified path.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
