Convert PPS to SVG in PHP

Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java can load a PowerPoint PPS slide show and render every slide as a separate SVG image without Microsoft PowerPoint.

Call writeAsSvg on each slide and pass an output stream for the target SVG file.

You can install the library from Composer using the following command:

Console/Terminal

> composer require aspose/slides

How to Convert PPS to SVG in PHP

These are the steps to convert a PPS file to SVG using PHP.

  1. Load the PPS file with the Presentation class.

  2. Access each slide through the presentation and open an output stream for its SVG file.

  3. Call writeAsSvg to write each slide to its output stream.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
