Convert PPSM to BMP in PHP

Aspose.Slides for PHP via Java can load a PowerPoint PPSM slide show and render every slide as a BMP image without Microsoft PowerPoint.

Call getImage on each slide, then save the returned image with ImageFormat::Bmp. The example uses a scale factor of 2.0 for both dimensions.

You can install the library from Composer using the following command:

> composer require aspose/slides

How to Convert PPSM to BMP in PHP

These are the steps to convert a PPSM file to BMP using PHP.

  1. Load the PPSM file with the Presentation class.

  2. For each slide, call getImage to render a BMP image.

  3. Save each image to a separate file with ImageFormat::Bmp.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion example, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in the php.ini file.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install and configure Apache Tomcat with PHP/Java Bridge as described in the installation guide .
