How to Convert PPTX to BMP in PHP

These are the steps to convert a PPTX file to BMP using PHP.

  1. Load the PPTX file into a Presentation instance.
  2. Access each slide through a variable and call its getImage method.
  3. Save each rendered slide to the generated file path with ImageFormat::Bmp.

System Requirements

Before running the PHP conversion sample, make sure that you have the following prerequisites.

  1. Install PHP 7 or later, add the PHP directory to the system PATH, and set allow_url_include to On in php.ini.
  2. Install JRE 8 and set the JAVA_HOME environment variable to the installed JRE directory.
  3. Install Apache Tomcat 8.0 as described in the installation guide .
