## Convert POTM to FODP in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a macro-enabled POTM file and export it as a Flat OpenDocument Presentation (FODP). The conversion preserves the presentation content in a flat XML-based format; macros are not retained in FODP. Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice, and OpenOffice are not required.

## Convert POTM to FODP using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the POTM file, then call `save` with `SaveFormat.Fodp`.

Open the source POTM file with `Presentation`.
