## Convert POTX to GIF in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a PowerPoint Open XML template (`POTX`) and export it as an animated `GIF`. The resulting file presents the slides as animation frames and can include slide transitions supported by the GIF exporter. The conversion does not require Microsoft PowerPoint.

## Convert POTX to GIF using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the POTX file and call `save` with `SaveFormat.Gif` to create an animated GIF.
