## Convert POTX to ODP in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a PowerPoint Open XML template (`POTX`) and export it as an OpenDocument Presentation (`ODP`). The conversion preserves the presentation content in an open format and does not require Microsoft PowerPoint, LibreOffice, or OpenOffice.

## Convert POTX to ODP using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the POTX file, then call `save` with `SaveFormat.Odp`.
