## Convert POTX to PPSM in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a PowerPoint Open XML template (`POTX`) and save it as a macro-enabled PowerPoint Show (`PPSM`). The resulting file opens in Slide Show view in compatible applications and can store VBA macros, although converting a macro-free POTX file does not add any macros. Microsoft PowerPoint is not required for the conversion.

## Convert POTX to PPSM using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the POTX file, then call `save` with `SaveFormat.Ppsm`.
