## Convert PPT to POT in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a legacy PowerPoint presentation (`.ppt`) and save it as a PowerPoint 97–2003 Design Template (`.pot`) without Microsoft PowerPoint. The conversion retains supported slide content, layouts, and formatting in the target binary format.

Load the source file with `Presentation`, then call `save` with `SaveFormat.Pot`.

## Convert PPT to POT using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the source PPT file, then call `save` with `SaveFormat.Pot`.
