## Convert PPTM to BMP in Python

[**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](/slides/python-java/) can load a macro-enabled PowerPoint presentation (`.pptm`) and render each slide as a separate bitmap (`.bmp`) image. Animations, transitions, macros, and other interactive behavior are not included in the rendered images. Microsoft PowerPoint is not required.

## Convert PPTM to BMP using Python

Create a `Presentation` from the PPTM file, access each slide through a variable, call `getImage`, and save the rendered image with `ImageFormat.Bmp`.

## How to convert PPTM slides to BMP in Python

Follow these steps to render the slides in a PowerPoint PPTM presentation as separate BMP images.

Install [**Aspose.Slides for Python via Java**](https://docs.aspose.com/slides/python-java/installation/).

Configure the package and start the Java Virtual Machine in your application.

Open the source PPTM file with `Presentation` and access each slide through a variable.

Call `getImage` for each slide and save the result with `ImageFormat.Bmp`.
