Convert FODP to HTML in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert FODP presentations to HTML5 documents programmatically. Load the presentation and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.HTML5.

The HTML5 output renders slide content in a browser without requiring Microsoft PowerPoint.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

This sample code shows how to convert FODP to HTML in Python

with slides.Presentation("presentation.fodp") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.html", slides.export.SaveFormat.HTML5)
 

How to Convert FODP to HTML in Python

These are the steps to convert an FODP file to HTML using Python.

  1. Load the FODP file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output path and SaveFormat.HTML5.

  3. The presentation is saved as an HTML5 document at the specified path.

System Requirements

Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.

  • Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
  • Python 3.5 or later.
