Convert FODP to PPT in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert FODP presentations to PPT files programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and export it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPT.

PPT is the binary presentation format used by PowerPoint 97-2003. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

with slides.Presentation("presentation.fodp") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.ppt", slides.export.SaveFormat.PPT)
 

How to Convert FODP to PPT in Python

These are the steps to convert an FODP file to PPT using Python.

  1. Load the FODP file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.PPT.

  3. The presentation is written to the specified PPT file.
