Convert OTP to PPSX in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert OTP presentation templates to PPSX files programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and export it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPSX.

PPSX is a PowerPoint Open XML slide show format that opens directly in slide show mode. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

How to Convert OTP to PPSX in Python

Follow these steps to convert an OTP file to PPSX using Python.

  1. Load the OTP file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.PPSX.

  3. The presentation is written to the specified PPSX file.

System Requirements

Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.

  • Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
  • Python 3.5 or later.
  • Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.
