Convert OTP to PPTX in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert OTP presentation templates to PPTX files programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and export it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPTX.

PPTX is the standard PowerPoint Open XML presentation format. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

with slides.Presentation("presentation.otp") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.pptx", slides.export.SaveFormat.PPTX)
 

How to Convert OTP to PPTX in Python

Follow these steps to convert an OTP file to PPTX using Python.

  1. Load the OTP file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.PPTX.

  3. The presentation is written to the specified PPTX file.
