Convert POT to PPTM in Python
Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET
lets you convert POT presentation templates to PPTM presentations programmatically. Load the template and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPTM.
PPTM is the macro-enabled Open XML presentation format. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.
Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

How to Convert POT to PPTM in Python
Follow these steps to convert a POT file to PPTM using Python.
Load the POT file into a
Presentationinstance.Call
Presentation.savewith the output path andSaveFormat.PPTM.The presentation is saved as a PPTM file at the specified path.
System Requirements
Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.
- Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
- Python 3.5 or later.
- Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.
