Convert POTM to PPSM in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert POTM presentation templates to PPSM slide shows programmatically. Load the template and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPSM.

PPSM is the macro-enabled Open XML slide show format used by modern versions of Microsoft PowerPoint. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

Console/Terminal

pip install aspose-slides

This sample code shows how to convert POTM to PPSM in Python

with slides.Presentation("presentation.potm") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.ppsm", slides.export.SaveFormat.PPSM)
 

How to Convert POTM to PPSM in Python

Follow these steps to convert a POTM file to PPSM using Python.

  1. Load the POTM file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output path and SaveFormat.PPSM.

  3. The presentation is saved as a PPSM file at the specified path.
