Convert POTX to POTM in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert POTX presentation templates to POTM files programmatically. Load the POTX file into a Presentation instance and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.POTM.

POTM is the macro-enabled Open XML presentation template format. Saving a POTX file as POTM changes the output container but does not create a VBA project. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

How to Convert POTX to POTM in Python

Follow these steps to convert a POTX file to POTM using Python.

Load the POTX file into a Presentation instance.
Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.POTM.
The presentation is written to the specified POTM file.
