Convert POTX to PPTM in Python
Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET
lets you convert POTX presentation templates to PPTM presentations programmatically. Load the template and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPTM.
PPTM is the macro-enabled Open XML presentation format used by modern versions of Microsoft PowerPoint. Converting a macro-free POTX file to PPTM does not add VBA macros. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.
Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

How to Convert POTX to PPTM in Python
Follow these steps to convert a POTX file to PPTM using Python.
Load the POTX file into a
Presentationinstance.Call
Presentation.savewith the output file path andSaveFormat.PPTM.The presentation is saved as a PPTM file at the specified path.
System Requirements
Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.
- Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
- Python 3.5 or later.
- Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.
