Convert PPSM to ODP in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert PPSM slide shows to ODP presentations programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and save it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.ODP.

ODP is an OpenDocument format supported by applications such as LibreOffice Impress. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

with slides.Presentation("presentation.ppsm") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.odp", slides.export.SaveFormat.ODP)
 

How to Convert PPSM to ODP in Python

These are the steps to convert a PPSM file to ODP using Python.

  1. Load the PPSM file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.ODP.

  3. The converted ODP file is written to the specified output path.
