Convert PPSM to PPT in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert PPSM slide shows to PPT presentations programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and export it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPT.

PPT is the binary presentation format used by PowerPoint 97–2003. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

How to Convert PPSM to PPT in Python

These are the steps to convert a PPSM file to PPT using Python.

  1. Load the PPSM file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.PPT.

  3. The presentation is written to the specified PPT file.

System Requirements

Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.

  • Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
  • Python 3.5 or later.
  • Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.
