## Convert PPTM to EMF in Python

[*Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET*](/slides/python-net/) lets you convert PPTM files to EMF images programmatically. Load the presentation and export each slide by using `Slide.write_as_emf`.

EMF can preserve vector slide graphics as scalable content in compatible applications. The Python API processes PPTM files without requiring Microsoft PowerPoint.

Install the library from [PyPI](https://pypi.org/project/aspose-slides/) by using the following command:

## How to Convert PPTM to EMF in Python

Follow these steps to convert a PPTM file to EMF using Python.

Load the PPTM file into a `Presentation` instance.

Iterate through `Presentation.slides` and open a binary output stream for each slide.

Call `Slide.write_as_emf` to write each slide to its EMF file.

## System Requirements

Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.

- Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the [system requirements](https://docs.aspose.com/slides/python-net/system-requirements/)).
- Python 3.6 or later for this sample.
- Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.

### This sample code shows how to convert PPTM to EMF in Python

with slides.Presentation("presentation.pptm") as presentation:
    for slide in presentation.slides:
        file_path = f"presentation_slide_{slide.slide_number}.emf"
