Convert PPTM to OTP in Python
Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET
lets you convert PPTM macro-enabled presentations to OTP templates programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and call Presentation.save with SaveFormat.OTP.
OTP is the OpenDocument Presentation Template format, so the output can be used as a reusable starting point for OpenDocument presentations. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.
Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

How to Convert PPTM to OTP in Python
Follow these steps to convert a PPTM file to OTP using Python.
Load the PPTM file into a
Presentationinstance.Call
Presentation.savewith the output path andSaveFormat.OTP.The presentation is saved as an OTP template at the specified path.
System Requirements
Before running the Python conversion sample, make sure your environment meets these requirements.
- Microsoft Windows, macOS, or 64-bit Linux (see the system requirements ).
- Python 3.5 or later.
- Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET installed in your environment.
