Convert PPTM to PPS in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert PPTM presentations to PPS slide shows programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and save it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.PPS.

PPS is the binary PowerPoint 97-2003 Slide Show format. The conversion changes the presentation container while preserving supported presentation content. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

pip install aspose-slides

This sample code shows how to convert PPTM to PPS in Python

with slides.Presentation("presentation.pptm") as presentation:
    presentation.save("presentation.pps", slides.export.SaveFormat.PPS)
 

How to Convert PPTM to PPS in Python

These are the steps to convert a PPTM file to PPS using Python.

  1. Load the PPTM file into a Presentation instance.

  2. Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.PPS.

  3. The presentation is written to the specified PPS file.

System Requirements
