Convert PPTX to POTM in Python

Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET lets you convert PPTX presentations to POTM files programmatically. Load the source file into a Presentation instance and save it by using Presentation.save with SaveFormat.POTM.

POTM is PowerPoint’s macro-enabled Open XML template format. Because a PPTX source cannot contain VBA macros, the conversion changes the file format but does not create a macro project. You can test the conversion in your browser or use the Python API in your application.

Install the library from PyPI by using the following command:

How to Convert PPTX to POTM in Python

Follow these steps to convert a PPTX file to POTM using Python.

Load the PPTX file into a Presentation instance.
Call Presentation.save with the output file path and SaveFormat.POTM.
The presentation is written to the specified POTM file.
