## Merge PPS in Python

[*Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET*](/slides/python-net/) lets you merge PowerPoint Slide Show (PPS) files by cloning slides from a source `Presentation` into a destination `Presentation`. Append each source slide with `SlideCollection.add_clone`, then call `Presentation.save` with `SaveFormat.PPS` to write the combined presentation.

Open the destination and source PPS files, append a clone of each source slide, and save the merged presentation as a PPS file.

## How to Merge PPS Files with Aspose.Slides for Python

Follow these steps to merge two PPS files into a single PPS presentation.

Install Aspose.Slides for Python via .NET by following the [installation guide](https://docs.aspose.com/slides/python-net/installation/).

pip install aspose-slides
```

Make the `aspose.slides` namespace available in your Python project.

Open the destination and source PPS files as `Presentation` instances.

Iterate through the source slides and call [`SlideCollection.add_clone`](https://reference.aspose.com/slides/python-net/aspose.slides/slidecollection/add_clone/) for each slide.

Call `Presentation.save` with `SaveFormat.PPS` to write the merged presentation to a PPS file.
