How to Edit PPTX Metadata with Python

Follow these steps to edit metadata in a PPTX file.

  1. Open the PPTX file with Presentation.
  2. Access its IDocumentProperties object through Presentation.document_properties.
  3. Update built-in properties or use set_custom_property_value and remove_custom_property for custom properties.
  4. Save the presentation with Presentation.save and SaveFormat.PPTX.
