Generate Superscript and Subscript HTML Tags Easily!

The HTML tag is used to add superscript text to an HTML document. Superscripts are usually rendered with a raised baseline, using smaller text. Superscript text appears half a character above a normal line and is usually used for footnotes.

The HTML tag defines inline text that should be rendered as a subscript for purely typographical reasons. Subscripts are usually displayed with a lower baseline, using smaller text. Subscript text appears half a character below the normal line and can be used for chemical formulas.

Steps to Create HTML Superscript Tag in C#

  1. Use the CreateElement() method of Document class to create a element. In an HTML document, the Document.CreateElement() method creates the HTML element specified by tagName, in our case the tagName is “sup”.
  2. Create text content using CreateTextNode() method.
  3. Use AppendChild() method to add text content into the element.
  4. Copy C# code for the HTML Superscript tag and use it in your project.
